IWMW Launch Project Let's Usher in Shining Hope (PLUSH)
In 2021, the PLUSH project was a collaborative effort between IWMW and Eny-indigbo, offering financial support to 20 families with critically ill children in two hospitals in Southeast Nigeria during the Christmas season.
The PLUSH project, a joint initiative by IWMW and Enyindigbo, continued the tradition of spreading love and care, bringing joy during the Christmas season of 2021.
In this year, PLUSH had a profound impact. Members of both IWMW and Enyindigbo pooled funds, as with their other collaborative projects, to assist families with critically ill children in hospitals.
The project extended its reach to two hospitals in the Southeast: Federal Medical Center in Owerri, Imo State, and Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital in Awka, Anambra State.
A team comprising representatives from both IWMW and Enyindigbo, led by Adaigbo Njideka Ejekam, was tasked with visiting these hospitals. Their mission was to identify and assist the families in greatest need.
Working efficiently and in coordination with hospital administration, the team identified families with critically ill and financially struggling patients.
Financial aid, as a token from IWMW and Enyindigbo, was provided to 10 families in each hospital. The families receiving this aid expressed deep gratitude for the support given.
