The Uniqueness of an Awesome Igbo Woman

On the 5th of May 2021 was our Convener's birthday. Adaigbo Gburugburu choose to commemorate this special day with a fund raising activity. She invited her beloved fans and well-wishers to donate funds to support a widow who became a victim of notorious fulani herdsmen in Alaigbo last year. Adaigbo and her fans raised over NGN150,000.00. Through the benevolence of IWMW members in South East Nigeria, the donated funds was presented to our sister Mrs Mercy Odezulu on the 28th of July 2021 at her residence. Mrs Odezulu was overjoyed with the money and vowed to put it to good use to support her family.

This is what IWMW is about, service to Alaigbo and Ndigbo. We need your support to put bigger smiles on more faces. If you are still in doubt if who we are and what we do, hope this helps in getting you the answers you desire. Our utmost gratitude to the wondreful Amazonz who represented us and presented the token to Mrs Odezulu as our little way of cushioning the blow of losing her dear husband in such a tragic manner. Great thanks to our indefatigable Convener for raising the fund.

Here are photos from the event.
