Adaigbo Gburugburu responds to Igbo-bashing on twitter

No week passes on the Nigerian twitter community without Ndigbo trending over one issue or another, sometimes over very frivolous and ridiculous topics. Having had enough of frequent bashing of Ndigbo on twitter over every excuse, the convener of Igbo Women Movement Worldwide, Chinwe, popularly known as Adaigbo Gburugburu took it upon herself to send a striking message to the latest igbo basher known as Aisha Yesufu on twitter. The video above (is best listened to) went viral and was featured in many blogs and online newspapers. To the Igbo community, it did represented a voice of reason yet defiant, subtly sending the message that Ndigbo will no longer be silenced.
