Enyindigbo aims to discover, harness and channel the formidable strength of Igbo women in addressing the present ugly situation in Alaigbo where our people face existential threats through programs and projects of poverty alleviaton, women empowerment, child's rights and protection awareness, and community development.

The position of Ndigbo in Nigeria has over the years become precarious with increasing hostility directed against innocent citizens sometimes leading to wanton loss of lives and destruction of property. In the diaspora, Igbo women face different challenges including domestic abuse, racism, discrimination, economic disempowerment, work-related stress, mental ill-health (anxiety and depression), poverty etc. A number of women have lost their lives from overworking in response to family pressures home and abroad.
Enyindigbo, formerly known as the Igbo Women Movement Worldwide (UK) is led by Dr. Nkeiruka N. Onyia to galvanise Igbo women irrespective of location, profession and status to advocate for the right to life and preserve its culture . To empower Ndigbo to aspire and thrive to their full potentials in Alaigbo and UK in order to improve the standard of living for themselves, their children, and future generations.
